Harry A. Gershman Memorial Music Scholarship

The Harry A. Gershman Memorial Music Scholarship is awarded to one or more students each year who meet the following criteria: majoring in the Strings Division of the UND Music Department within the College of Arts and Sciences; full-time undergraduate or graduate student; primary instrument is violin, viola, or violoncello; major in Music Performance; member of the UND Student String Quartet; participate in the Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra; registered in the UND Chamber Orchestra; engaged in service to the community in a manner determined by the UND String Quartet instructor in consultation with the Chair of the Music Department. Preferences shall be given to graduate or international students.
