Thomas S. Deats Jr. Memorial Award for Excellence Scholarship

The Tom Deats Memorial Journalism Scholarship is awarded to one or more students each year who meet the following criteria: junior or senior; majoring in Communication within the College of Arts and Sciences; academic achievement, particularly in journalism professional and theoretical courses; demonstrate interest and activity in the area of print journalism, graphics, and/or photography.
