Daniel R. Rice Educational Leadership Scholarship

The Daniel R. Rice Educational Leadership Scholarship is awarded to one doctoral student each year who meets the following criteria: studying in the Educational Leadership Higher Education program within the College of Education and Human Development; Tribal College graduate, been employed at the Tribal college as an administrator or faculty member, or grew up in one of the Native American reservation communities in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, or Minnesota; demonstrated commitment to the mission of Tribal Colleges and to serving in a leadership position in such colleges as an administrator. Preference shall be given to a student who is from North Dakota.
