Catheleen L. and Dean R. Strinden Scholarship

The Catheleen L. and Dean R. Strinden Scholarship is awarded to students transferring from the Williston State College to the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks for the completion of their undergraduate third and fourth year of education. The following criteria will be used to identify qualified students to be considered for the Strinden Scholarships:
1. Students with a mid-grade average will be eligible for consideration provided such students have endorsements from instructors who attest to their good work ethic and overall attitude.
2. Recipients of a Strinden Scholarship will be re-eligible to receive another Strinden Scholarship in their fourth year of undergraduate study at the University of North Dakota.
3. Graduates of the Williston State College who become enrolled in the M.D. Program at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences will qualify for a Strinden Scholarship and will be given preference for scholarship support for each of the four years of their medical education if adequate academic performance is maintained.
