Garmin Scholarship

The Garmin Scholarship is awarded full-time (12 credits or more) students majoring in the following programs within the College of Engineering and Mines:

• 3 Electrical Engineering students
• 3 Aerospace Engineering students
• 3 Computer Science students
• 1 Mechanical Engineering students

Recipients must be a sophomore, junior or senior student who has maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above. Graduate students are not eligible. Preference shall be given to students from groups that are historically under-represented.

Additional information about this scholarship:

• Recipients may qualify for this award in subsequent years, provided they maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Recipients may not receive this scholarship while taking part in a full-time cooperative education (Co-op) program .
• Recipients participating in an accredited study abroad program will not be impacted or disqualified from this award.
