Edson & Margaret Larson Foundation National Security Scholarship
The Edson Larson Foundation National Security Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate and graduate students studying national security related research. The objective of this award is to encourage US Citizens that are residents of North Dakota to work on national security projects and pursue a career in a national security related field.
Undergraduates can receive a $5,000 scholarship for working on national security related projects. This is a one-time award. To eligible for this award, a student must have worked on a national security project for one semester and average a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Graduate students can receive $10,000 per semester for two consecutive semesters. Students must have half time GRA on a national security related project during the semesters that they receive this fellowship. The fellowship is intended to augment the funding that they receive on the project and not supplant the existing funding.
