Robert & Mary Caldwell Scholarship

The Robert & Mary Caldwell Scholarship is awarded to one or more graduate student(s) in the UND English Department; with clear evidence of accomplishment & dedication in one/more areas of the three traditional fields of English studies: Old English language/literature; Middle English language/literature; Linguistics/History of English language. Such accomplishment shall be manifested by the writing of a master’s theses or doctoral dissertation in one or more of the above fields. Eligible once thesis/dissertation is approved. May be awarded to student more than once. Need is not a factor.
